I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mesa, AZ) in Jun 2013
Interview
Easy, asked general questions
why should we hire you? what does high standards mean to you? Why did you pick chipotle?
If you study about Chipotle, such as what makes them different from other store, and give them information during the interview, they appreciate that you've done your homework. Saw a few people turned down because they overdressed (greased back hair and tie). Its a cashiers position, over dressing make you look fake and they know it.
It was very chill, they asked about previous work experience, why I left my previous job, my skills, and my availability. Very standard interviewing process and interviewer was very nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
very easy, two interviews, one over phone and in-person, less than 30 minutes and talked with store manager and some of the crew, got a tour of the back kitchen ask about weekends and experience
Application
I interviewed at Chipotle (Millbrae, CA)
Interview
Casual interview, sat at a table with manager. Asked basic questions about yourself, and your ability to work with others. Discussed food handling safety. Mostly focused on why I wanted to work there vs. other places and how long I planned to stay.
