I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Temple, TX) in May 2015
Interview
Didn't take long at all. The GM was very nice. We sat down at one of the tables at the restaurant. I arrived early and I wore a dress shirt and tie. I maintained eye contact the whole and he was inclined to hire based on those factors. He asked me about my plans for this job and if I was going to college or anything. It was a nice, positive interview overall.
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
