I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Glendale, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was very nervous because it was my first interview, and the first question I was asked was "Are you nervous?" Of course, I thought the interview was going terribly and I did not expect a call back. I was interviewed by 2 guys who were both very friendly and understanding, and they seemed to ask the same questions repeatedly (like "what can you bring to chipotle" and "why should we hire you"). When the interview ended they told me to expect a call within the next week or so. I got a call back about a week later for a second interview but I had to decline for personal reasons, so I can't say whether I would have gotten the offer or not.

Question 1
What did you notice when you first walked into Chipotle?
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.

Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
