I emailed and called and was never given a straight answer. I went through the process with several departments and I have never otherwise not gotten closure. With a process that requires so much preparation and commitment, I find it very disrespectful for the department to not follow through and at least properly inform recruits know they were not selected.

Background and health screening, drug test and polygraph. Do not lie on any portion of the interview process at it may disqualify you. There is also a power test that consists of a 1 and 1/2 mile run, being able to press about 90% of your weight, sit and reach and sit up.
