I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Chemonics International (Washington, DC) in Jul 2015
Interview
After a phone interview they asked me to come in for a panel interview with three other employees. I had to take an online test before coming in for the panel interview. The one frustrating thing was that they never returned any of my follow-up e-mails. I just had to assume eventually that I didn't get the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me situational questions such as how I reacted to a challenging situation and how I would prioritize certain tasks if I had a busy schedule.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chemonics International (Washington, DC) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was emailed that I have been selected for a phone screen a few days after I applied (I applied at the deadline). The phone interview went smoothly, they asked questions about specific cases but also general ones.
The next week I was emailed for an face-to-face interview with 3 people, 2 project managers and one director, as well as aptitude tests (one basic operations skills, one language). There was no expression from any of the interviewers, and I thought the interview went smoothly. There were a number of case-based questions, specifically about project management and handling specific scenarios such as a team member not completing work on time.
I didn't get another call back. Several polite follow up inquires to the point of contact and I eventually got a generic rejection email. All in all respectable and polite process. I would have preferred a personalized email about the rejection but assume they have protocols to not respond.
