I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Chase (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
first call with HR, then after several months, 2 phone interviews with the hiring manager and another person, then on-site. At first the communication was horrible, took several weeks to schedule phone interview and can never get a hold of the HR at all. After initial phone interview, HR became more interested in connecting with me and had been more responsive and thing moved a lot faster. On-site interview was okay, there was some scheduling issue and was left in lobby for a long time with no one came to pick me up and cannot contact the coordinator. Eventually I took a tour around the office which is in SOMA not the SF HQ, had some in-person interview and video conf. Things seem to be in a rush, not very well organized. One of the person came back to me and asked me to stay longer because he did not finish asking his questions. One day later, the hiring manager called me and said they felt like my skills maybe too much for what they are looking for.
