I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Chase in Oct 2015
Interview
I was highly qualified for this job - even had my own licensed but the continued to turn me down bc of some issues with my credit. Idk why the kept me on a "yes and then no" list but my credit is near perfect and i had held a similar job at wells Fargo. All and all, they offered me half of what I was earning in wells Fargo and that was non negotiable. This bank's philosophy is to buy customers with the $200 for opening a new account promotion but the talent is lacking or the people some already work there dnt realize they can be earning better. Either way, it got to the point where I was fed up with them and asked for more than I knew I would get in order to end the negotiations and bring in limbo.
The managers I interviewed with were really nice though.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chase (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Three interviews: phone, in person with branch manager, final phone call with regional manager/market director. Questions mostly behavioral and related to experience as a teller, and whether I was comfortable with warm calling.

Question 1
What were you most proud of in your professional and or personal life?
The interview process was very good and asks a lot of questions about sales experience or banking experience. If you’re licensed that is a plus. Recruiter called, then met with hiring manager and another branch manager. Total process took about 3-4 weeks

Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a client
Standard interview process. Met a few personnel & the manager, got a feel for how the branch interacted with one another. Professional, nothing out of the ordinary for a role of this type.

They asked me if I was flexible in what position I was applying for.
