I met with an HR recruiter. The HR recruiter was very nice and personable and the first call was a getting to know you call. And I had a panel interview with the data science team. The panel interview was pretty technical.
I applied online. I interviewed at Central Insurance in Oct 2024
Interview
The recruiter was great and I felt good about the company. I was told my second interview would be a technical interview with upper management. When I looked at the interviewer's profile on linkedin I notice they had not mentioned any technical skills or technical experience. During the interview I was not asked a single technical question and basically felt I was giving free consulting. I also felt that the interviewer was a bit demeaning. There is no real reason to be rude to people or disrespectful.

Question 1
Tell me your story and why did you leave your last role.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Central Insurance in Aug 2024
Interview
Started with a phone screen, then a few weeks later there was an interview with the hiring manager, then a couple days later there was a technical interview. After that I never heard back. I called and emailed multiple times over the next several months and couldn't get an answer until November, and I was told they would get back to me the next week, and then they said nothing. The hiring manager was great and seemed to have a good impression of me, but the fact that the company couldn't even be bothered to send an automated rejection email really stings.
