The interview process began with an initial screening by a recruiter to discuss the role, responsibilities, alignment with my experience, and willingness to self-relocate to NYC. The first technical round was conducted on CoderPad, featuring SQL and Python questions. Initially, the second round was communicated as a software development interview with system design but was unexpectedly changed to an API development-focused assessment in Python just a few hours before the interview. Following this, there was no communication for a week, after which I was informed that they were looking for a candidate with more technical depth.

Had a call with interviewer in round 2 via a contracting firm. Round 1 was with contracting firm and Round 2 with CVS interviewer. Both were technical rounds focused on typical machine learning frameworks and MLOps related questions This was one of the most unprofessional interview ever. The CVS interviewer started about quality of candidates from the guys from contracting firm and budget issues etc in front of me. It was a bit disrespectful as it was his impression about me before even beginning the interview. In 15 years of my professional life, never met such interviewer. We had to end early as I lost interest and started saying no for anything he asked
