      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Nov 23, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CVS Health in Aug 2024

      Interview

A talent acquisition partner emails the typical interview details such as time and date, including the application they used to conduct the interview. They tell you they use Microsoft Teams and include a link to download it. This is where the discrepancy occurred. Not once did they specify that there are 2 separate Microsoft Teams applications (Teams for school and business and Teams for personal use) and that you MUST use Teams for School and Business. While I do not use Teams for work or personal use, I already had it downloaded on my computer and had an account therefore, I didn't find it necessary to click the link in the email to download it again. I even tested to make sure Teams worked on my computer. Unfortunately, I was not aware I didn't already have the correct application and that created technical problems. I had Teams for personal use but not Teams for School and Business. For someone else who already knows there are two completely separate applications for Microsoft Teams, sure, they could have replied to the initial email to specify which app to use. But should it have already been in the email? Definitely. I would have loved to send a follow up email to my interviewers but I never received their contact information.

      Question 1

(I didn't include any particular questions asked because this was this was a review for a negative experience involving a lack of information provided that resulted in technical issues)
