I applied online. I interviewed at CURE Auto Insurance (Princeton, NJ)
Interview
I received a call for a preliminary discussion and was then set up for an initial interview with a department manager. The process was relatively as expected and generic. It would be in line with other interviews I have been a part of.

Question 1
What qualifications do you have that make you a fit for this role?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at CURE Auto Insurance (Detroit, MI)
Interview
The interview process was strange. Three rounds with pretty average and expected questions. It was strange because it was set up through a third party recruiter. What made it strange is the initial phone interview wasn’t for a specific job, just a specific department. Then the next interview is for the job they think you’re best for. So you don’t actually get to interview for the job you think you’re best for or want.
Next strange part is after I went through the final interview, I just never heard back. I’ve never interviewed for a job that didn’t let you know either way. Especially to make it to the final round.
My final interview was with two different directors. Both had been with the company less than a year, and both in the industry less time than me. It was quite obvious that both were in way over their head.
