I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Taipei) in May 2026
Interview
20 minutes, consisting of a 5-minute behavioral question (PEI) and a 15-minute mini case. The mini case is a Fermi estimation problem.
The email HR sent at the time said that the interview would be conducted in both Chinese and English. Based on experience-sharing posts from previous years, the PEI was usually in English and the mini case in Chinese. However, my interview this time was entirely in English, so it probably still depends on the interviewer’s preference.
I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Beijing, Beijing) in Jun 2022
Interview
1. Tell me about yourself
2. CV-based questions: Go through past project and experience
3. Why consulting? Why BCG?
4. Calculate the market size of mattress in China (2-3 follow up questions)
