I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
After submitting the application:
1) Online Assessment: evaluate quantitative reasoning, answering 8 MC questions in 12 minutes. Mental math, reading data and charts.
2) R1: 2 45-minute interviews. The first was done with a virtual chatbot, but it felt very similar to a live interview. Second interview was live with an senior associate.
3) R2: 2 45-minute interviews. Interviewers were Partners/Principal level. Cases were based on their specific domain. A little more complex than R1 interviews.
After making it to the final round, local consultants at the office you applied to will reach out and offer coffee chats. Lots of support and encouragement from HR, and they also connect you with representatives from BCG's affinity groups.
I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in May 2026

Two fourty five minute case study interviews and if the candidate passes another two fourty five minute case study interviews.
Interview questions [1]

Interview
