I had a quick phone screen that was about a half an hour to gauge whether or not the role would be right for me. What was not communicated in this call was that the role would be a Dev Ops job. A week after the phone screen I had a call with a director responsible for the group I was interviewing for. It was during this interview I was informed the position was a Dev Ops job. Although I wasn't interested, I continued to do the interview. There were two questions. One a coding question, one a "tell me what this code does and why it doesn't work" question. Overall, the interview was straightforward and to the point. Bose knew what they wanted and so did I. My only complaint was the lack of transparency on the part of the recruiter initially.
