I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays
Interview
2 Rounds. First contact by HR for screening. HR mentioned the saalry offered and the grade for the position. He mentioned I would be contacted by Hiring manager for a 2nd interview. HR manwger asked generic questions on background and some work scenerio questions. Questions were project and infrastructure associated. I was relocating from alternate city so was asked about time frame for movement and availability.
I am really disappointed to read about your experience, it appears to have taken much longer than we aim for. Really pleased that you accepted our offer though and good luck for your career with us.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (Prague) in Aug 2013
Interview
The interview is insanely long, it consisted of five rounds:
- Online test (quite a long and complex one)
- Phone interview: This part is a bit difficult, because you connect to an online conference with three people with very different accents and including connectivity issues, it's some time hard to understand what they are talking about. They ask technical questions.
- First personal interview: Nearly three hours of technical questions, you have to write pieces of code in notepad
- Second personal interview: After all the previous rounds this one is insanely easy. They were asking really basic questions every programmer should know. I don't understand the reason for this round at all.
- HR interview: Talk with team leaders about your motivation and soft skills. Finally, you set up the salary.

Question 1
Most of the questions were purely technical. During last round they asked me standard questions like: You lead a team and one developer repeatedly fails to deliver work on time. How would you solve the situation?
