Barclays Interview Questions

Medium difficulty interview, got to answer questions in a certain way to get any marks. Overall nice interview though no pressure at all. It was decent and now I’m just writhing to get to the thirty words

Submitting CV and cover letter, carrying out assessments, video interview and then 1 to 1 interviews and then an assessment centre. Was a smooth process from start to finish. The response time after the interview was swift

Graduate program. The pace was fast. In addition to the classic 3 why questions, it was also very competency-based. The timing and focus of the presentation need to be strictly controlled.

Application process Online Assessment to be completed within 5 calendar days Virtual Assessment centre which will be almost 3 hours where final interview is conducted along with a role play exercise. Time for preparation will be given ahead.

Started off asking me a bit about myself then went into competency based questions, all asking for examples of when I displayed the various competencies. Interviewers were really nice and made me feel at ease.

It was unpredictable as I was interviewed by HR first. They said that my qualifications matched and would be fine to proceed. But then the candidature was rejected basis sponsorship needs.

I was asked if I would take a salary cut, said no sorry, told it was a third party company doing their recruitment. Process was lengthy for call back, got through to second stage and salary on offer was low in comparison to my current salary.

3 stage process, Initial discovery call with recruiter. CV review with a Director, competency interview with 2 Directors and a final cultural fit call with a Director all held virtual. Straightforward process if a little slow, nice interviewers, usual questions . Offer accepted after direct reach out from hiring manager to offer the role.

It went good and the interviewer way of questioning was friendly manner. I was really impressed the company values and respect. I think this is the great place to work

Total process took around 2 months. Process included 2 general aptitude rounds followed by 3 rounds of math, coding and behavioural assessment on the super day. Entire process was online for me.
