The process was lengthy as would be expected and very thorough in nature. I believe recruiting for Banner did a stellar job of identifying candidates. However, during the process in more than one interview with the department head, that same department head was dozing off. In fact he had to excuse himself from the interview to get up and "go to the restroom." Upon returning he opened a desk drawer and removed a 5 hour energy from an assortment of energy boosters and water additives. He was still unable to maintain interest. This should have been an indicator when in the second of the interviews he conducted himself in the same manner. I came very well prepared and put in a great deal of effort to be at my best. This, should have sent up the red flags, "The culture is, I don't care."
