I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BDO (San Jose, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Good people, not at all technical. Met with people from the firm at a career fair on my campus and was told to apply online. There was then an on-campus interview which was later followed by a in-office interview. The on-campus interview was easy but there were some odd questions that I was not expecting. They are basically getting a feel for what your personality is. Know basic interview etiquette (know your resume, have some examples of you exemplifying favorable characteristics such as leadership). The second round, in-office interview was very easy and was just basically talking to the managers and partners of the firm to get to know them.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BDO (Anchorage, AK) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was very smooth. A few days after I applied for the position, I received a phone call and set up a time to chat with a partner of the firm. We spoke for about 45 minutes and it was very enjoyable. A few days later, I received an email to set up another phone interview. This time was with an Audit Manager, and the interview was about 30 minutes. And then about a week or so later, I was made an offer for the job.

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BDO (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2017
Interview
It was pretty fun, just lots of behavioral questions. They just want to know if you can keep a conversation on with someone. As long as you’re good at talking to people in a professional way and know your accounting, you should be fine.
