My initial interview was with HR and I personally did not belive that I interviewed very well. I was surpised when they called me back for a 1:1 with the hiring manager. The person that I interviewed with was extremely pleasant and did not appear to have any ego issues, which based upon other posts on this site, I was expecting it. He said that he did not micro manage either. I thought that he was genuine. The interview seemed like it went okay, but I have had really good interviews and not received any offers. With a 100 other people being just as qualified as myself, I am sure it boils down to personality.
