Interview
Round 1: CV Screening & HR Phone Screen
HR will call to discuss your experience, career orientation, and English proficiency (essential for their global working environment).
Note: Your CV should highlight challenging projects, technical problems you've solved, or algorithmic competition achievements (if any).
Round 2: Coding Assessment (Optional)
In some cases, you may be sent a test on HackerRank or a similar platform before the live interview.
Format: Algorithmic problems (Data Structures & Algorithms). Difficulty is usually around LeetCode Medium - Hard.
Round 3 & 4: Technical Interviews (In-depth)
This is the "core" part. You will interview directly with Anduin engineers.
Live Coding: You will be asked to solve algorithmic problems live. The interviewer will observe your thought process, how you optimize complexity (Big O), and whether you write clean code.
Tech Stack & Knowledge: Although Anduin uses Scala (Backend) and React/TypeScript (Frontend), they usually don't require you to know Scala beforehand. However, a mindset for Functional Programming (FP) is a huge plus.
System Design: For Mid/Senior levels and above, there will be a system design round (e.g., Design a reliable queue, Notification system). They focus on scalability, consistency, and performance.
Round 5: Culture Fit / Management Round
Usually with an Engineering Manager or the CTO.
Content: Discuss "Why Anduin?", Career Path, conflict resolution, and product mindset.
Anduin values Ownership and a user-centric mindset.

Interview
The interview process consists of 3 main rounds.
Initial Screening – Senior Engineer Round
The process begins with a screening interview conducted by a Senior Engineer. This round focuses on assessing the candidate’s fundamental technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and overall fit for the engineering team. It typically includes coding questions as well as discussions about past projects and work experiences.
Technical Interviews – Engineering Rounds (3 rounds)
Following the screening, the candidate will go through three technical interview rounds with engineers. Each round dives deeper into different aspects of software engineering, such as coding skills, system design, data structures and algorithms, and real-world engineering challenges. Candidates are also expected to explain their previous experiences, design decisions, and trade-offs made in past projects.
Final Interview – CTO Round
The final round is conducted with the CTO. This stage evaluates the candidate’s overall technical maturity, architectural thinking, and alignment with the company’s long-term vision. In addition to coding and technical discussions, this round places strong emphasis on past experiences, leadership potential, and the ability to contribute at a strategic level.

Interview
Great intro call with recruiter. Was told process was recruiter-Sr Mgr of CS-Sr manager of client relationship mgmt (hiring manager), Senior CS team member, take home project/presentation, CEO
Sr Mgr interview was rescheduled for a week later at the last minute. I was then scheduled (out of order) with the Senior CS team member then set to meet with the Sr Mgr of CS two days later. I received no feedback or communication between my Wednesday interview and my interview that was scheduled for Friday. 11 minutes before my interview with the Sr Manager of CS I was told I was no longer being considered for the role... I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Very unprofessional and an inconsiderate way to handle candidates.
