This was the first step of the interview (a call with the recruiter). The recruiter was very kind. She walked me through the job description and clarified some of the requirements before moving on to questions to assess my background and experience. She mentioned that most of the data team is based in the US, so members of the local data analytics team need to work from 10 AM to 8 PM, including breaks, to maximize overlap with the US team. The questions were fairly general, aimed at understanding whether my skills and experience aligned with the job requirements and why I was interested in this position at Amgen.
