I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Brandon, FL) in Apr 2018
Interview
I was called for a position (and not explained what the position entailed) just set up for an interview. An email was sent (which I figured would have all the pertinent info and didn't), so I emailed back and asked if it was a commission-based position (not interested). She emailed me "that will be discussed at the interview". I emailed again and received the same response. I called approximately 10 times to both of her numbers, and she would not answer her phone. Then every time I called, my calls would immediately go to voice mail (on both phones) and my emails stopped going through to her. I called the Orlando office to find out if it was commission and I was told it was salary. I WASTED precious gas (an hour drive one way) to get to an interview for a position that is commission based. And then the guy who interviewed me got belligerent because I didn't want to interview.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Interview mainly informative, not many questions were asked. Made to pay for insurance license at time of interview. A lot of paperwork. Quickly hired possibly due to high turnover. The entire process felt rushed.

Interview
Very simple and great process. Communications are great. They offer webinars that makes the jobs seem greater than what it really is. When honestly the job can be what you make it but you have to put in a lot of time to the point you have none left for yourself and family.
