Alation Software Engineer interview questions

The recruiter reached out to me for phone screen. They asked H-index question from Leetcode in the phone screen. I was not able to do it as I spent too much time on the wrong approach and then did not have enough time to change course

Short 10 minute phone screen with a recruiter followed by a technical assessment. Scheduling was fast and understanding of conflicts for rescheduling as needed. Technical assessment was a paired programming session and the interviewer was not really paying attention. The interviewer would not answer questions either and at the end told me quite rudely I would not be moving forward.
