I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Portland, OR) in Mar 2019
Interview
I had a phone interview with in a week of applying, A week or two later I was invited for a face-to-face interview with about 30 other applicants at a hotel. My first interview was more formal and I was called back for a second and told to wait with the rest of the group. My second interview with another supervisor was more relaxed but this may just depend on who Is interviewing you. I was told to wait again and called out of the room by the congratulations or regrets associate. I was hired on the spot and immediately taken for my drug test and fingerprints. The background check took about a month and I was cleared. A few weeks later I was sent for training for 10 straight days in Seattle.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines
Interview
Pretty great just make sure to be prepared for the interview and be ready to spend about 3-4 hours at the location its more of a hiring event than a interview
Very easy and straightforward. Minimal questions. It was awhile ago so i don’t remember them all very well, but the experience was typical. Benefits reviewed. Duties mentioned. Pay also mentioned since it is a union job. Schedule was crappy since you’re starting new.
