I applied online. I interviewed at Air Canada (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2018
Interview
applied, two weeks, got phone interview, following the phone interview i got scheduled for language test, after language test i waited 2 weeks to hear from them, got scheduled for a f2f three days after. just finished the group interview (5 people including myself). then 3 people including me, were asked to move to the next room and was asked for our preferred work locations (toronto, calg, vanc) etc. they then told us we'd be notified within a week to 2 weeks either for our results either pass or fail. however, the other two got called in after and they got scheduled for a medical for next week.
My interviewer said my f2f went 'really well'. and the other two people seemed pretty solid to me.
I am wondering if anyone is in the same situation as I am, or know of anyone who got notified a week or two after their f2f to schedule a medical? only because i hear if you don't get offered medical scheduling on the same day as f2f, then chances are you cant move on.
Thanks
Fair but alot of questions. Be prepared with many scenarios that demonstrates customer service and your ability to react to emergencies. Being friendly and dress appropriately is also very important
The interview process comprises an initial group meeting with all applicants, followed by a concise overview of Air Canada. Subsequently, the larger group will be segmented into two or three smaller units for individual interviews. These interviews are designed to assess your interpersonal skills, cognitive processes, and professional bearing. You will be presented with a scenario for discussion, followed by a video analysis focusing on a flight attendant's actions, requiring you to evaluate their appropriateness.
It was a great experince doing an interview, even though I didn’t make the cut during the last interview for Air Canada. Overall it was a great journey. It does bring my hopes up because I lasted till the finals.
