I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Affirm (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2019
Interview
Had a difficult online assessment followed by a quick chat with my recruiter where we then scheduled an onsite interview. I had a short time frame, but the recruiting team was able to work with me and complete the process before a different one of my offers expired.
The onsite interview was a series of 1 on 1s with engineers, a product owner, and a director. All of the technical questions I was asked to solve seemed extremely relevant to role I was interviewing for - unlike most other companies I have interviewed with.
Everyone I interacted with - from the recruitment team to the engineers that interviewed me - were super friendly. The whole process was very competent.
I ended up accepting a different offer, but Affirm left me a great impression.
