I found the role on LinkedIn and applied. PRAM IT reached out to double-check if I had submitted the 1-minute intro video requested in the application (which I had missed), so I really appreciated the reminder. After that, I recorded and sent it.
About 1–2 weeks later, I had the HR interview. It started in English to check communication skills and then switched to Sinhala since that’s the main working language. It felt very relaxed and natural, more like a genuine conversation than a formal interview. The HR manager was super friendly and supportive, and the discussion went on for almost an hour without any pressure.
The technical interview came next and was more challenging than I expected. I was asked architectural and in-depth questions on NodeJS, React, NextJS, Jenkins, and security topics. It was intense but conducted professionally. I answered confidently where I could and was honest about areas I wasn’t fully sure about. That round lasted around 30–45 minutes.
Later the same day, they called to say I had moved to the next round and even asked in a friendly way whether I felt stressed during the technical interview, which I found thoughtful.
The final interview was with the CEO in the Netherlands. He was very approachable and down-to-earth. We had a great one-hour discussion about the company’s journey, team culture, projects, and what they saw in me as a candidate.
Overall, the whole process was well-structured, respectful, and surprisingly stress-free despite the challenging technical round. It left me genuinely excited about the opportunity and the team.
