I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ace Hardware (Tomah, WI) in Sep 2018
Interview
Informal Question and Answer style interview. Review of skills and past experiences. Very personal and professional, as well as being up front and honest about what they needed as well as asking what I was willing and not willing to do for the job. For example, could I work certain shifts, and what wage I was expected to be making.
Informed me on what the job involved and asked of that was somthing I could see myself doing.

Question 1
What would you do if a customer requires a part we don't stock.
Made sure I could do basic math and that was about it. It was a super straight forward process, don't stress it... Unless you can't do math, and even then they'd probably give you a different job.
The interview for a cashier role is straightforward, focusing on customer service skills, experience with transactions, and familiarity with inventory management. Questions are likely to be simple, aimed at assessing your ability to handle basic cashier duties effectively.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ace Hardware (Benbrook, TX) in Feb 2024
Interview
During the application process it kept mentioning if I ever felt like punching someone (totally weird!) I mentioned if hired I would need a certain day off and a guy behind made a comment about the day and it wasn't until I was driving home I think I know why he was making a remark. I didn't realize the day was 420 day. I was just wanting the day off for a faire I paid for already. So I felt if they were judging me just for asking that day off then that's on them! because one why would I mention that during the interview?
