Entry Level Software Engineering Associate Interview

      Sep 9, 2024
      Anonymous employee
      Manila, Manila
      Accepted offer
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Accenture in Mar 2015

      Interview

The first interview was a phone screening with the recruiter. It was almost like an information session where the recruiter described the company, what you would be doing, and what the rest of the interview process would be like. The second interview was also a phone interview and it was mostly technical in nature. Review basic topics on OOP and you'll be fine. We spent most of the time discussing projects I had listed on my resume and answering questions based on my own projects and experience. It was a little bit difficult the explain my projects over the phone. I prefer answering technical questions with paper or a whiteboard where I can draw out examples or block diagrams, but my interviewer was patient and seem to understand what I was describing. The last step was a video conference interview was a senior manager. This was mostly behavioral questions with one or two technical questions. This lasted about half and hour. A few days after the last interview, the recruiter emailed saying the company was pausing interviewing and hiring for the moment and that I would hear back about the job in a few weeks. So, for now I am still waiting on their decision.
