My experience was pretty much the same as everyone here, even though I was off cycle. I was referred to the position by someone who already worked at Accenture. Within 2 days of applying, I was contacted by email for an interview. The first interview was standard, essentially to make sure I didn't lie on my resume, to ensure that I knew what I was in terms of the job (the travel requirements are restated throughout all three interviews.), and to let me know what the next stages would be like. It was done over the phone with a recruiter. The second interview was conducted with a hiring consultant (someone who no longer works for Accenture, but was high up when they left) over the phone. It was a behavioural interview asking how you react in certain situations. My interview lasted about 1.5 hours (the norm is about 40-45 minutes) but it's because we ended up just talking about my experiences and their experiences. It was quite casual. Two days after I was contacted by the recruiter to set up the third/fourth interviews. There would be 2 in person interviews on the same day. Both were done by Sr. Managers with my regional office. Both were exceptionally casual and were advertised as an informal conversation. They asked 2 questions each about leadership and then I got a chance to ask questions as well. In between both interviews, they quickly discussed something between themselves. Both interviews averaged about 40 minutes. What I felt was the key to getting the interview and being able to move on each step was having strong grades in school, being confident in my behvarioural and situational questions, and honestly being very open to travel and learning.
