After submitting my CV I was invited to a women in technology event. The event took place at their Newcastle office. We were delivered a number of presentations by current female managers talking about their experiences of the company and how their careers have developed. We were invited to ask questions and were given lots of information about opportunities, how careers are managed, the benefits of the company, training, personal development. After this we had a nice buffet lunch with some new female graduates we also had the opportunity to chat and ask questions. After lunch we had to do a group exercise where we had to present a project plan for the development of an application. Then we had individual interviews which were more about how we could demonstrate our values and how these aligned with those of the company. I was encouraged to give examples related to software development experience at university where I could, but this wasn’t necessary. We were a small group, I think they expected 12 but not everyone came. It was a positive experience, everyone on the day was very friendly and reassuring and I felt that the recruitment team were committed to getting the best from us and genuinely wanted to give us all jobs if they could. The other candidates were excellent to work with on the group task and it was easy to get on with everyone there.

Had an online hackerank (1st stage), then had a task-based accenture interview was given a case-study, seemed straightforward. There was a slot you needed to allocate yourself to do this interview.
