      Federal Java Developer Interview

      Jun 14, 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Saint Louis, MO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Saint Louis, MO) in Dec 2011

      Interview

The interviews were very generalized and seemed more as a way to make sure you would be a good fit for the team. The "technical" interview was mild, and was mainly concerned with knowing that you knew about what you put on your resume'. The hardest question for the technical interview was explaining the difference between memory management for C++ as compared to Java (they are a Java shop). The people you speak with (other than the initial HR-personnel that contacts you) are usually those you will be working under, alongside, or at least see around your workplace. Try to be relaxed during the interviews, as I was able to make some easy connections right off the bat by being able to chat with the manager of another project that my project interfaced with.
