I applied online. I interviewed at AVEVA (Montreal, QC) in Sep 2023
Interview
The recruiter reached out to me by email to schedule a zoom meeting and discuss the position. I passed to the second interview of 2 hours with three managers. The first recruiter asked me technical question and did not bother looking at me in the eyes when talking. Whole time he was looking at a different screen. The other recruiters seemed nice but did not bothered looking at my CV to say the least. It was just not fair considering I wasted time off my day.

Interview
The interview process was quite extensive, lasting around four hours in total. It was structured across three separate interviews, which allowed the team to evaluate both technical and interpersonal aspects of my fit for the role. I met with two different managers, each focusing on different areas such as my problem-solving approach, past experience, and how I handle real-world scenarios. The third interview was with HR, which was more focused on behavioral questions, cultural fit, and discussing my background, career goals, and expectations. Overall, the process was thorough and gave me a well-rounded understanding of the role and the team.
