What is the salary like at Walmart?

Good pay, great coworkers, and a 10% discount is nice.

Understaffed at times, I was pulled to different departments often.

Flexible hours, decent pay, good benefits and set schedule

Lower pay, medium stress and in need of good people skills.

Great benefits, great work culture, opportunities for growth, pay was a plus, flexible shifts

Sometimes they care about the bottom line more than they care for the workers, and they want constant improvement on a processes even if they’re near perfect.

Good insurance, good pay, good hours and flexibility usually, decent job in general.

Fickle management, an overly-complicated management system with too much room for error and miscommunication, Walmart customers (both a pro and a con really), and waaay too much backroom politics involved in everything at the Store level.

Good learning experience, excellent benefits, decent pay you can make a living off of, most relaxed dress code of any company i’ve ever worked for you can basically wear anything you want, easy to move up in position of your department, employee discount, free walmart+ account, breaks, decently flexible schedule

No overtime, attendance point system (also a pro), no holiday pay

Merchant's always changing their minds or wanting things done in timelines that are not obtainable.

Friendly and supportive coworkers, good benefits, good if you need work experience, pay is good if you have very few living expenses and more than one income for financial support

Understaffed leads to overworking, most of the time being underpaid for asking you to helping the company out by working overtime, pay is not enough if you have a lot of living expenses and trying to live independently without extra financial support.

Excellent leader, team environment, great associates, plenty of opportunity to grow and good pay
