Pros
The coworkers that have been there for more than 3 weeks are an absolute blast to be around. They all know how hard it is to be in a cashier position, so if you are having a bad day, nearly everyone comes to your rescue.
As someone who was both a baker and a cashier simultaneously, there is always something to do and I'm someone who genuinely HATES downtime. I know there are people out there who would love to get paid to do nothing but that is NOT my style at all.
It's really hard to get fired here. Pretty much, just don't be reliable and they'll let you go in heartbeat. Everything else is pretty much okay, just be prepared for a lot of coaching.
Cons
And when I say coaching, I really mean criticisms. Maybe I am just sensitive, but I felt like they were treating me like a new hire long after I was decently seasoned. No where near ready to be a team lead or similar, but long enough to know what I was doing.
If you get hired as a baker at cinnabon, just be prepared for stress levels to get frequently maxed out. A beeping oven, a ringing doordash tablet, and impatient customers can easily overwhelm you. All while your boss is telling your in your ear/headset that your work still isn't good enough. That's enough to make anyone's morale fall to critical levels.
Many customers will offer tips, but you have to refuse all of them or at least inform them that there is no formal tip jar.
