Pros

The coworkers that have been there for more than 3 weeks are an absolute blast to be around. They all know how hard it is to be in a cashier position, so if you are having a bad day, nearly everyone comes to your rescue. As someone who was both a baker and a cashier simultaneously, there is always something to do and I'm someone who genuinely HATES downtime. I know there are people out there who would love to get paid to do nothing but that is NOT my style at all. It's really hard to get fired here. Pretty much, just don't be reliable and they'll let you go in heartbeat. Everything else is pretty much okay, just be prepared for a lot of coaching.

Cons

And when I say coaching, I really mean criticisms. Maybe I am just sensitive, but I felt like they were treating me like a new hire long after I was decently seasoned. No where near ready to be a team lead or similar, but long enough to know what I was doing. If you get hired as a baker at cinnabon, just be prepared for stress levels to get frequently maxed out. A beeping oven, a ringing doordash tablet, and impatient customers can easily overwhelm you. All while your boss is telling your in your ear/headset that your work still isn't good enough. That's enough to make anyone's morale fall to critical levels. Many customers will offer tips, but you have to refuse all of them or at least inform them that there is no formal tip jar.

Pros

Pay is decent for Knoxville Benefits are good Coworkers are the only thing holding this place together

Cons

The culture has taken a nosedive. The new CFO sets the tone, and that tone is basically “I don’t care.” That attitude trickles down through leadership and it shows in every decision being made. The return‑to‑office mandate is a perfect example. It’s not about productivity — it’s about control. People with long commutes are burning hours of their lives just to sit in the office on Zoom calls they used to take from home. Morale is the lowest it has ever been. Entire teams have been gutted because people are quitting faster than they can be replaced. The workload dumped on whoever stays is unsustainable. Communication from leadership is cold, dismissive, and out of touch. Feedback goes nowhere. Concerns are brushed off. Decisions are made with zero regard for how they impact employees. Constant reorganizations create chaos. Roles change overnight, expectations shift constantly, and employees are expected to absorb more and more with no support. The company used to feel people‑focused. Now it feels like a machine that’s grinding down the very people who keep it running.
