Managers Take Credit, Engineers Take Pressure

      Cons

Working here as a Software Engineer II has been one of the worst career decisions for me. The company is extremely process-heavy, where employees spend more time dealing with approvals, meetings, and management pressure than doing actual engineering work. Instead of enabling productivity, the culture creates unnecessary stress and frustration. One of the biggest issues is the management culture. Many leads and managers are quick to take credit for the work done by engineers while contributing very little themselves. Recognition is often driven by visibility and politics rather than real technical contribution or hard work. There is little appreciation for employees, and growth seems to depend more on pleasing management than actual performance. Micromanagement is common, and over time the environment becomes mentally exhausting and demotivating. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a healthy engineering culture, supportive leadership, or merit-based growth.

      Pros

Great company culture with mentorship opportunities, welcoming managers, and great teams. Fun company events throughout the year to foster morale, motivation, and excitement. Top company in its industry by a landslide so the experience you'll gain early in your career is great and you're selling a great product with notoriety within the industry. Has an amazing team who is dedicated to researching and creating leads, so there is never a shortage of prospects and hardly any prospecting you have to do as a salesperson.

      Cons

There is some lack of transparency in terms of career development and sales goals to hit and what the outcomes are thereafter. Seems to be an unspoken rule of working overtime each day if you realistically want to get your workload done. Chaotic process post-sale - lack of support from onboarding teams, sometimes takes days to get an answer while a client is waiting to get started in the product. Certain parameters make it difficult to transition into a different role without excelling in your current one that you may be struggling in.
