Thank you for your openness and for highlighting both the positive aspects of your experience and the challenges you faced during your time as a Trip Leader. We recognize that the nature of seasonal, travel-based work creates complexities around personal-life balance. While we feel confident in the structures we have in place for our staff—generous time-off policies, the ability to request additional flex time, and industry-leading compensation and benefits packages—the reality of the job, and the travel and tourism industry as a whole, is that it’s seasonal and can be unpredictable. It’s a lifestyle that’s not for everyone.
We also remain committed to increasing diverse representation—as reflected in the creation of a new position and framework focused on social and environmental impact, along with metric-based annual goals—and to strengthening our international operational compliance. Our recent efforts to establish over 17 different payroll entities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, allowing us to employ Field Staff through their home countries and local contracts, demonstrate our commitment to compliance, employee well-being, and retention.
Your feedback underscores the importance of these efforts, and we sincerely thank you for your candor and honesty.
