Quebec, Canada - May 23rd marked an important day in our history with the inauguration of our partner Entosystem's facilities in Drummondville. With over 100,000 square feet of space, this is the largest insect production plant in North America! Each year, this waste-free process will : ✅ Repurpose 90,000 tons of organic material ✅ Produce 5,000 tons of high-quality proteinaceous larvae ✅ Provide 15,000 tons of approved fertilizer for organic farming At the event, our CEO, Martin Couture, spoke about our new strategic partnership. "For 84 years, it's been in Sanimax's DNA to transform everything and make the circular economy a model in the food industry. Entosystem fully embodies this approach and demonstrates today that new innovations can generate great projects. We are proud to be at Entosystem's side and to participate in its growth." Sanimax moving towards global communication 🌎 For the very first time in our history, our leaders from Canada, the United States, Brazil and Colombia met physically for a meeting last February 22nd and 23rd in Quebec City. What a pleasure to be able to exchange face-to-face! The primary objective of our executive leadership team meeting is to improve the synergy between our plants in different countries in order to bring even more coherence and power to our strategic orientations. We believe that global communication will be positive for all stakeholders who collaborate closely or remotely with Sanimax. The improvement of our practices, the sustainability of our activities and the well-being of our employees are at the heart of the discussions. What a great year it has been! Sanimax is proud of the work accomplished by all its teams, especially on 2 important aspects for us. A STRENGTHENED MISSION Our partnership with Entosystem has given us a new and inspiring push to further our mission and our promise to do everything we can to recycle all the materials we recover. This Quebec-based company will produce insect-based flour for domestic and farm animals from some of the leftovers we recover. MEETINGS THAT DO GOOD The resumption of the Leadership Tour in our plants in Canada and the United States was good for all of us. It was great to catch up with the teams, meet new recruits, celebrate the years of service of those who have been with us for over 25 years, and take the time to recognize the most inspiring employees with our Alex Awards! This recognition program highlights the efforts, achievements and excellence of those who go above and beyond the call of duty, in keeping with our vision and corporate values.
Our training teams recently completed a training course on the basics of training resources...! Over the course of two days, our specialists gained new insights that will help them optimize their knowledge transfer. 👩🏼🏫 They have studied key principles of pedagogy and training planning, which will allow them to be even more effective in informing our new recruits as well as our existing employees! Our vision at Sanimax is to give meaning to the careers of the individuals who choose us. We want to provide multiple opportunities for career advancement for everyone. Training at the beginning of a job is obviously an important factor for success, but continuous training is even more important for growth!
On October 18th and 19th, our #Leaders Forum was held in Montreal, bringing together all our leaders from Canada and the United States. Our 75 participants attended various presentations and actively participated in discussions, brainstorming and team-building activities. These two days of enrichment are opportunities for us to inspire and equip our leaders to create more stimulating, collaborative, human and fulfilling work environments for our teams.

Our Canadian Leadership Tour has just wrapped up 🛣 From Montreal to Sainte-Rosalie, passing through Lévis, Hamilton and Guelph, the management took the time to meet those who watch over and participate in the smooth running of our plants across the country. Official presentations and friendly exchanges were on the program. Thank you all for your participation!
