Residents and staff at MHA Cedar Lodge in Stratford-upon-Avon came together for a vibrant Diversity Day, a celebration of the rich mix of cultures, backgrounds, and identities that make the home truly special. Led by Home Manager Christina Samudzi, the event was a lively tribute to the many nationalities, faiths, and personal stories that shape life at the home. From colourful decorations to joyful music and dancing, the day highlighted the beauty of unity through diversity.
Staff members from MHA Stratton House will be taking part in the Tough Mudder Challenge to raise funds for the homes amenities fund. This is a great example of how you can make a successful career working in social care. Andrea started her career at the home as a care assistant, then moved over to become a senior carer before starting in her current role as administration manager.
In part 6 of our 30 under 30 series we spoke with Fae Denholm, who only started working in social care nine months ago, and is already looking to develop her career.
