Our Trans Mountain Expansion team to the rescue again! One of our Valemount, BC based team members noticed the lack of yard lights at a local daycare. Our Prefabrication Off-site Construction team is researching the feasibility of using innovative prefabricated glide-on balcony systems versus using traditional concrete. Exploration and analysis of thermal breaks, structural loads, carbon footprint and life-cycle costs will inform future construction improvements. For this project, we gratefully acknowledge the financial support of BC Housing through the Building Excellence Research & Education Grants Program.

Our work has begun on a new student residence building that will provide students with spaces to live, enhance learning, and engage in their community.
