In an interview with Nasdaq TradeTalks, Hain CEO Mark Schiller described the impact a "health and wellness crisis" is having on consumer choices and the CPG industry. Consumers are changing their wellness and eating habits to focus on a healthier lifestyle. Hain 3.0 is working hard to meet consumer needs and restore its rightful place as an industry leader on a global scale.
A high school teacher noticed Jillian Maclin’s acumen for numbers and encouraged her to explore accounting in college. That sparked a career path that has been nothing short of amazing for Hain’s Director of U.S. Accounting. The Hofstra grad hit the ground running 14 years ago as a Staff Accountant, growing along with Hain 1-2-3.0 and ascending the corporate ladder with mathematical prowess, to now oversee the entire U.S. accounting function. Earning a master’s from LIU Post, Jillian put her passion to work with a unique perspective on Hain’s financial team, embracing people and purpose first. While day-to-day accounting tasks, audits and P&L reviews excite her, she shares that being on the Diversity & Inclusion Council and making Hain’s commitment to D&I more transparent has shown her how diverse Hain is, and how the company is striving to bring greater awareness to these issues. Jillian’s advice to her colleagues: "Don’t say no to opportunities and take advantage of being able to work in other areas at Hain. I learn something new every day!"
An entrepreneurial spirit can often feel eclipsed by the structure of a global company. For TJ Rivera, having an enterprising mindset has not only been welcomed at Hain, but rewarded with growth opportunities throughout the company. Progressing cross-functionally from director of sales operations, director of trade management, senior director of customer business planning, and now, as director of finance, TJ feels opportunity and leadership isn't reserved for a select few at Hain; anyone can lean in and contribute at every level. This inclusivity is something TJ is proud to nurture and champion as a member of Hain’s Diversity Council. A notable moment for TJ from his early days at Hain: the first time he interfaced with senior execs on a high-impact project that aligned with his skillset. "Past jobs never allowed that kind of interaction," he said, "If you want the ability to lead meaningful, high-impact projects, look closely at Hain.
Don't let complacency stand in the way of professional growth this year! Tyneisha Garrett didn't start in her dream job at Hain but after mastering her previous roles she now puts her love of numbers to work as a customer business planning analyst.

Out of college, searching for a career and not just a job, a headhunter introduced Jennifer to Hain. Jennifer began her journey in 2006 as a temporary receptionist and quickly transitioned to customer service data entry. She discovered that for a large company, Hain had a community feel with "friendly and supportive" people. Focused on professional growth, support would become a theme. Fifteen years later, from office admin and administrative assistant to now the executive assistant to leadership, Jennifer embraces her role with pride. "There are lots of moving parts I see as a puzzle. I enjoy putting those pieces together--contributing to keeping the company whole." Her work resonates with her and describes Hain culture as inclusive - you feel "part of the fabric." I feel like my personal values are never compromised at Hain. I can truly be me - express ideas and thoughts without any hesitation. At the same time, everyone here brings something unique and valuable, creating a true learning environment. Your voice matters and that means everything!
