During our Field Leadership Conference this year, leaders carved out time to participate in one of eight different service activities. It was an incredible experience! Here's a list of the organizations we volunteered with, along with some smile-filled photos of our leaders. ✅ Get Outdoors Nevada - connecting people with opportunities to experience, learn about, and care for natural and urban outdoor spaces. ✅ Project 150 - helping homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students stay in school and succeed. ✅ United Way of Southern Nevada - bringing communities together to face their greatest challenges, whether that’s helping families find stability, empowering young people, or responding to crises. ✅ The Just One Project - aiming to end food insecurity and build a more connected community in Southern Nevada. ✅ Three Square Food Bank - reaching struggling individuals and families at risk of hunger in Las Vegas. ✅ Lighthouse Charities-Las Vegas, NV - empowering vulnerable and displaced individuals to rebuild their lives through self-sufficiency, healing, and hope. ✅ Shine A Light Foundation LV - supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, especially those living in the city’s underground flood channels. ✅ Nevada Plants - building greener, more resilient communities through tree planting, advocacy, and education. Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who made an impact in the Las Vegas community through their time and effort!

"Help End Hunger Today!" Join the Feeding America virtual food drive! Feeding America’s network of local food banks supports almost every community where there is an Extra Space location. Together, we can help give back directly to the communities we operate in! The food drive is active now and will run until Tuesday, December 16th. Extra Space will automatically match donations made during the food drive, and all funds go directly to Feeding America, where $1 provides 10 meals for those in need. Hundreds of backpacks were packed with non-perishable food items thanks to so many Extra Space Storage volunteers!🎒 We've recently established a new year-long partnership with USANA Kids Eat, a local nonprofit dedicated to eliminating hunger in Utah schools. Through said partnership, we're supporting Heartland Elementary School in West Jordan, Utah for the 2025-2026 school year. This means that the donation we made and the volunteer efforts from the team will directly benefit children at that school. Grace Houser, who coordinated the events at Extra Space commented, “The collective effort of the team was inspiring, and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. It was rewarding to know that our work will directly help ensure kids have enough to eat over the weekend." This year's CEO Team of Excellence winners gathered in Park City, Utah to be formally recognized and rewarded for their hard work and dedication. 🙌 While in Utah, the group attended a dinner event with the Executive Team, participated in a fun group activity of their choice, and enjoyed leisure time in Park City. They also visited the corporate office, including breakfast with the Ops Support Team, a tour, and more! These employees embody our Extra Space Storage core values of Integrity, Excellence, Passion, Teamwork, and Innovation. We take great pride in having them as our CEO Team of Excellence and loved being able to honor their efforts and accomplishments through this year's celebrations.
