This Pride Month, Dataprise wants to highlight our most diverse and unique asset - our people! Meet Susan, one of Dataprise's Cybersecurity Analysts. What has made you feel welcomed and accepted at Dataprise? Dataprise has always been open to diversity and creates this culture where people from all walks of life can come in and be themselves without the fear of being discriminated against. I’ve never felt judged or scared to be open during my time here and it makes me proud to be part of this company. What specific cause or organization do you feel best represents and supports the LGBTQ+ community? The “It Gets Better Project” because I believe that it does get better. As someone who has gone through the struggles of figuring out one’s sexual identity, surrounding yourself with people who will support you and be there for you is most important. The movement creates a support system for LGBTQ+ people who are bullied or thinking about suicide because they are unable to be themselves. Dataprise is a place where employees of different backgrounds or identity feel welcomed and safe.
