A couple of years ago, an employee had a great idea: run a charity event at the office called “Charity Chilli”. Volunteers made chilli, and others paid for a bowl or two. It has become an bi-annual event! This year, together our offices raised a total $709.00 for two local charity organizations in Waterloo & Toronto. We can’t wait to do it again!

We've got some exciting news to share! Axonify has been recognized as a Best Workplace in Technology by Great Place to Work® Canada for 2024 🥳 This acknowledgement is a testament to the company's steadfast commitment to contributing to a thriving work environment, producing an innovative product and staying ahead of the curve in our industry. We couldn't be more proud!
This year we hosted our first ever Leader Summit for our People Leaders in Waterloo! It was an amazing opportunity for our Leaders to come together as a community to strengthen connections and develop on key topics within Axonify’s business needs. We had a wonderful Keynote Speaker, Kevin Rempel, present who spoke on managing change, and the remainder of the day was filled with interactive sessions to enhance leadership skills and create a space for our Leaders to build community. The day finished with a peer nominated Award Ceremony to recognize fellow Leaders who have demonstrated their exceptional leadership, inspiring teamwork, and commitment to fostering growth and collaboration within Axonify. We can’t wait to host our second annual Leader Summit in 2025!
Last week, 150 Axonifiers came together at the Waterloo HQ for our annual Summer BBQ! We ate delicious food, enjoyed some drinks, played lawn games, listened to Axonifier-curated playlists and—of course—socialized! Special shoutout to these vendors who helped us make the event a success: ☀️ Cocktail Carriage Roaming Bar, serving up signature cocktails and mocktails ☀️ Food trucks BIGJERK, Serial Griller and Los Rolling Tacos, and yummy pasta from our friends at Ennio's Pasta House ☀️ Desserts from Sugar Daddies and Fluffy Glaze ☀️ Tri-City Tent Rentals provided us with some shade for the afternoon ☀️ Alex Martin from Dreambird for snapping pics and videos of our busy afternoon Nothing better than making connections and having fun in the sun with fellow Axonifiers.
