      Terrible place to work

      Pros

Good "salary" and a downtown office

      Cons

I2c seems like a big company, but the management is terrible. They don't treat you as an employee, but more as a robot. They don't respect your time and the lack of management is surprising. When you do your interview, they offer you opportunity to grow, but reality is a completely different thing.

      i2c Response

We are sorry to hear your experience with i2c wasn't positive. It is unfortunate as we are building a culture where we desire for employees to be happy and enjoy a long-term career with us. We take great strides to work with our employees on any issues they are experiencing and are hopeful you took advantage of the various outlets available to you to report anything you feel was of concern (or to make suggestions for improvement). We are appreciative of your contributions to i2c and wish you luck in your new career.

      Great environment, great people

      Pros

The management really cares about the people in the team, most of them were csrs before so I guess that helps. The call center manager is available to any rep and takes the time to listen and she’s funny, brings good energy on the floor. Theres floor support almost all the time so I feel supported while I’m performing my job which is important in a fast pace environment. I like coming in to work because I really like the people I work with, they have become my friends and the pay is good! we get snacks and free coffee which doesn’t hurt!

      Cons

The tools! The systems crash often, the phone system is not the best and the csr manual needs some work especially because we deal with multiple clients

      Pros

Some of the people that work there

      Cons

Stay away from this company. At first, the management team composed of mostly puppets to the manager will be nice and welcoming. You think the manager is super cool and the trainer super nice. Then, with time, you realize how back-stabbing and petty the can be. Everything is micro-managed to the core. The manager is a mid-level manager, hardly English/French-speaking person who has no control over the decision-making process so she tries to impose control over her team in Montreal. One of the supervisors is just a puppet to her who watches over everyone like a hungry dog just so he can be accepted. The list goes on and on. Working at i2c will break your spirit and suck away your soul. This is a place to work at while you get something better. After a while, you'll want to run away.

Very Supportive; Recognizes Merit - Atmosphere Very Friendly

      Mar. 14, 2018 - Customer Service Representative
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Employer prefers support and active training over criticism. Managers are almost universally friendly and relatable. Hardest workers are recognized and encouraged to take on more responsibility. The pay is great. Coworkers all get along with a family atmosphere.

      Cons

We work in four languages, so unfortunately those who are most useful get less sway in the hours they work. Most clients are from overseas and so most people work nights, which can be hard on the body and mind. As in any call center, cutting/firing methods detract from the sense of safety in the feeling of family.
