Pros
Casual working environment Some young + intelligent people working here Strong data + product team I don't regret working here because I learned a ton on startup, fast paced, revenue driven work environment - learned to hustle and be super competitive. Looking back, I'm glad I left at the state of the company.
Cons
Disorganized structure No feedback from management Lack of communication Taking on work way beyond your job description No concrete direction/plan of company moving forward Coming to work was super unpredictable. You can work really hard and help with revenue or in other areas of the business, but if you do not engage in work politics or are not hanging out with key people in the company, you will fail. Perhaps due to the casual environment, noticed that inappropriate/irrelevant comments (sexual, political, etc) will be mentioned in our all hands meeting, and it would be brushed aside because leadership mentioned it, so it makes it okay (when it's not). There's also this weird, catty behavior on Client Services team of gossiping about each other (did not engage with this). Also there's this expectation that people were supposed to be whizzes at the databases and products in such a short amount of time (chastised if wanted to improve or learn more about this). Let go a lot of really good people who added value to the company. Some were people who had good reviews and were never put on performance plan, yet were let go (makes no sense).
