We are sad to receive this review. As with so many companies, we have had to change the way we operate due to the coronavirus pandemic. Field-based account management and 1-2-1 client meetings are no longer possible with social distancing. Thus, with great regret the company has had to either furlough or make redundant three field-based account managers and move our business more online. We are so sorry for the loss of anyone's job or income during these difficult times, however, do not feel that this justifies making untrue derogatory personal comments about anyone. At YorkTest, we have a great collaborative spirit and this is a wonderful company to work for with good values and a fun, professional ethos. We wish this person a happier outlook for the future. With best wishes to all, from YorkTest

Pros

Plush new office, comfy seats, going home was always a bonus.

Cons

I had been at Yorktest for a while, but got out earlier this year. Morale is terrible, such an awful fearful place to work. Everyone I am still in contact with is planning to leave, even some managers are looking at changing companies. Human Resources more to protect employer than employees. I'd hate to be an investor right now lol

Pros

McDonald's is over the road.

Cons

I find it difficult to put into words how bad it actually is to work here! The staff at the bottom of the career ladder are the ones that run the business and are totally under valued, massively underpaid and treated absolutely disgustingly, nothing is ever good enough! Before I started yorktest I was promised a high bonus hence why I accepted the extremely low salary... it's been 3 years and I am yet to see a penny! There is absolutely no room for progression they just tell you there is and then when it gets down to the nitty gritty and you ask about it there is always an excuse as to why you can't progress even though you are doing the equivalent of 3 senior people's jobs! Yorktest pride themselves on the 'company culture' quite frankly this is an embarrassing claim how can you have a company culture when management don't even follow it?
