      Not great, to say the least

      Pros

      It's a good place to start your career if you don't have much experience, you can move up the ladder very quickly if you have the right attitude.

      Cons

      There’s a strong culture of conformity at Workiz. The mid-level management are all young men sycophants around the CEO with a big "tech bros" atmosphere. Only opinions reflecting the top management team's ideals are truly accepted. Anyone who asks challenging questions or raises a conflicting view is treated as a dissident or “non-believer”. A woman who does that is viewed as problematic, or difficult to work with. There is open and unapologetic use of offensive and toxic language that’s downplayed as being just a joke but it makes people feel uncomfortable and unable to say anything against it without being made to feel as the snowflake who doesn’t get the joke. Underperforming high-level managers who are not willing to change anything in the way they work but are close enough to the plate are kept in their positions without expectations to improve, while low-level employees are being given the impression that they just need to work harder with this mentality of “everyone should be giving 150% effort for the success of the company, were all in this ship together”, not much of a way to set an example. When other Glassdoor reviews claimed a toxic environment, the CEO said in an all hands meeting something along the lines of “we’re all one big family and anyone who finds this atmosphere incompatible can just quit”. By the flood of positive one-sentence reviews from current employees here I wouldn’t be surprised if some hints were given to help push the bad ones further down.

      I changed my mind about this company and here’s why you should too

      Pros

      The best reason to work here is the money but you most likely won’t get a raise so try negotiating a good rate in your interview.

      Cons

      They don’t promote people who aim to be promoted. They promote people into positions that THEY need filled. While I was in this role I had 4 different managers in 2.5 years. The most recent manager had only 6 months of experience and it showed. I left soon after. Oh and the customer base is mean to our female employees. I can’t tell you how many times our female onboarding specialists got yelled at on calls.. and guess what? When this happens to you, the higher ups will tell you that now you’re an official Workiz employee.. if you like getting yelled at by customers while having no support FEEL FREE TO APPLY

      Be very cautious if considering joining this company

      Pros

      There are some truly nice people working at Workiz that give it their best efforts every day.

      Cons

      Office environment is absolutely terrible, Customer base rarely attend their onboardings and become frustrated with the DIY aspect of learning and configuring the platform they purchased. Expect to get burnt out from regularly grueling interactions with customers. Commission structure for onboarding is based on adoption metrics with no equity in the number of onboarding assignments across the team or revenue size/type of deals assigned.
