-limitless opportunity to make an impact at the organization. If you have the skillset/drive to solve a problem, or make an impact, you're more than encouraged to go solve that problem. - The current team is amazing and some of the brightest and most hardworking people I've had the pleasure of working with. Both on the product/eng and revenue side of the house. Everyone is here to help and there is ZERO ego here in my experience.
Cons
- this is more for startups in general... but there is no playbook. Things move fast and things can be vague, so its not for everyone. You got to be able to learn a lot on your own and become the expert - Definitely had our fair share of not being focused which in addition to market conditions, resulted in some unfortunate reductions, but I'm very excited and optimistic on our current focus going forward.
Welcome is selling a very sleek webinar platform that is great for companies who want to highlight their branding and make those virtual events feel like they have a high production value without needing a seasoned event coordinator. We had a company retreat where it was great to meet everyone in person. Everyone was super nice and easy to get along with and will definitely miss those folks.
Cons
No opportunities for growth. Was promised a clear path for professional development but when sales leadership is constantly rescheduling and canceling trainings, it makes it difficult to grow. Even when the whole team was struggling and asked us what we needed from them and told them exactly what we needed to be better in the roles only to be told they were working on too many other projects and we were on our own. No clue what these other projects that were being worked on consisted of because they were never mentioned to the team. There would be weeks at a time when it felt like we never heard from any of the sales managers. Even when pivoting to a completely different ICP and starting from scratch, the leaders were nowhere to be found and we were left to figure it out on our own.
